Bússola Tech will host a panel discussion about “Cybersecurity in the AI Era: Protecting Parliamentary Operations and Institutional Continuity”. The participants will offer their insights and practical expertise. The discussion, moderated by Mr. Luís Kimaid, Executive-Director of Bússola Tech, will explore the cybersecurity foundations that parliaments should establish before expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence, how legislatures can prepare to maintain institutional continuity during major cyber incidents, and the governance measures required to strengthen cyber resilience across parliamentary administrations.
The panel will also examine how parliaments can balance cybersecurity with political autonomy, institutional transparency, and long-established parliamentary practices.
