Bússola Tech and the Legislative Assembly of the State of Espírito Santo have the honour of presenting the 2nd edition of LegisTech: Modernisation of Devolved and Subnational Parliaments. This prestigious event will be held on May 14th and 15th, 2026 at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Espírito Santo, in Vitória, Brazil. The meeting aims to deepen international dialogue on legislative modernisation in devolved and subnational parliaments, bringing together secretaries-general, clerks, legislative consultants, technology leaders and institutional decision-makers.
The next edition will focus on the important theme of Modernisation of Devolved and Subnational Parliaments, reflecting the growing need for technological transformation in state, provincial, regional and devolved legislatures. The programme has been carefully designed to promote in-depth debates on various aspects of legislative modernisation, including, among other topics, the first steps towards a digital legislative process, artificial intelligence strategies, parliamentary data structuring, integration with legacy systems, process automation and comparative case studies of parliaments from Brazil, Canada, Australia, Germany, Argentina, Portugal, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
The event represents the continuing commitment of Bússola Tech and the Legislative Assembly of the State of Espírito Santo to advancing legislative modernisation through the strategic application of digital technologies, institutional innovation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Devolved and subnational parliaments from around the world are invited to participate in a journey of discovery, innovation and dialogue, envisioning a future in which technology and governance converge to create more efficient, transparent and responsive legislative institutions.
